Invisible Gaze

The original portrait captures an infant mimicking the gaze of his mother. The expression that is so clear in one frame is divided onto two seperate canvases. Each print is 84cm x 120cm and stretched on frames. These art objects are walked through streets and landscapes. Community members help locate improvisation places to hang the artwork on buildings, at bus stops, in cafes, etc. Photographs and videos of the walk record the new path of the gaze. Using the documentation from the walks, drawings, prints, and videos further question how one percieves the connection between the two portraits.
